After the funeral we were all sitting around in the yard. It was dusk and we were talking about our loved one who passed. I look up and I saw a huge monarch butterfly staring at me. At that time I shared with the group that butterflies are signs from heaven of from their loved one. I thought it was very strange to have a butterfly out at this time of dusk. The butterfly starred, and took off in flight circling the group of us. It finally choose his son to go to and circle alone. His son was amazed and lifted his arm up high and the butterfly landed on his hand. I watched as tears streamed down his face. It was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. It stayed that night for 2 hours watching us and going back to his son and daughter.
